What starts our journey?
For me, it was a professor I had in college who fundamentally shifted not only my trajectory for the next twenty years of my life, but helped shaped how I viewed the world around me and the challenges and opportunities I would face.
In the latest edition of Exeleon Magazine, which profiled me on the cover, I share this story.
“Emulating the amazing work he did, and the impact he had on the lives of others was one of the greatest goals I could set for myself.”
Because of him I picked up a camera.
Because of him I began teaching.
Because of him I started leading.
Over the last few decades of my career, there’s been a lot to be proud of. Nearly 600+ magazine covers, more than 50 ADDY Awards, 2 best selling books, over 10 amazing businesses, a top charting podcast, 2 print publications, an amazing team of colleagues and the best clients I could ever hope for.
But all of it would be for naught if I was not leading and helping others in their journey.
When I needed someone the most, he was there to teach me, guide me and support me. It is now my responsibility to provide that for others.
That is why I coach.
That is why I work with my clients to help them gain traction and momentum.
Because the true thing I am most proud of is not the accolades I’ve collected, but the successes my clients have achieved.
Launching careers for the first time.
Leaving jobs they hate.
Pursuing missions they love.
That is my why.
And I give my sincerest gratitude to all of those who choose to have me play a role in their journey!
