We are all so inundated by hearing about other people’s ideas. This person has an idea for this book. This other person has a great idea for a movie. This other person has a great idea for an app. I bet you too have a lot of ideas. But no one cares about them, just like you don’t care about other people’s ideas.
Why is this? Because we hear far more about ideas than we do about people making those ideas into reality. We are overrun with ideas and underwhelmed with the action to make those ideas happen.
So the next time you are about to tell someone that you have an idea… stop and instead see if you can instead tell them about your plan to achieve the idea, to make it a reality. People will listen. They will listen to those who can achieve. They will listen to those who can and will launch.
